was notified on 21 May that the
Calva’s Cup
race from Hondfleur has been cancelled due to lack of entries There will be
no visit from the Honfleur sailors and so the Hondfleur Ad Hoc race has also
been cancelled.

Entry Form & Self Measurement
On Friday 25th May
2007 the gauntlet has again been thrown down by
Cercle Nautique de Honfleur. We have, once more, been challenged by
these intrepid French sailors, to a yacht race.
The race is
scheduled to start at 1030hrs (BST) at Baverstock and the plan is to have
scenic race around the Western Solent buoys. In the evening there is a Club
Supper at 7.15pm for 7.45pm. -

Team Prize.
The team with the lowest total corrected time counting an equal number
of boats from each team will win the team prize - in the event of a draw the
prize will be divided between the two teams.
The corrected times (using the WSCRA/LTSC Handicap system) of the two best
performing boats in the three length categories will be added together to
give a total corrected time for the French/Honfleur & British/Lymington
Teams.
Boat Prizes
Individual prizes will be awarded for the best French and Best British Team
in each length category and if these do not include the 2nd and 3rd boats
overall they will also receive a prize.
The length categories will be
based on the overall length of the boat and will be as follows:
Boats 10 metres and over
Boats 8 metres and over but under 10 metres
boats under 8 Metres
