Motor Boat Section Activities

Mondays

If you have a motor boat, this is an opportunity to cruise with other club members who also have motor boats on a regular basis.

Meeting at 10.15am, we cruise to an agreed destination, meeting up for lunch either at  a yacht club, pub, or eating on board, returning back to Lymington around 4pm.  Destinations  can be as far west as  Swanage or as far east as Chichester and everything in between, such as Portsmouth, Southampton, Cowes, Beaulieu, Newport, Wootton Creek, Hamble, Poole and many others.  We hold an annual dinner and, once a year, circumnavigate the Isle of Wight.

Wednesdays

If you do not have your own boat, come along on Wednesdays at 9.30am, when  yachts and motor boats 'Meander' together by cruising to an agreed destination, then socialising with a sandwich lunch on board.  Every effort will be made to place you with a skipper, though experience is an advantage to RYA Competent Crew level or above .

Cruising

There are various weekend club cruises throughout the year and an annual  cruise for two weeks, usually to the north west coast of France, Channel Islands etc.  Yachts and motor boats are welcome.
