Welcome to the Motor Boat Section information page. Motor Boat enthusiasts will find a warm welcome at the Club events which are generally organised in conjunction with the Cruising Section. Whatever the size or speed of your craft, you will find many events in which you can become involved. This section also forms part of our Meanderers who are an informal gathering of Club members who are able to enjoy mid-week cruising in Motor and Sailing Boats. The group meets at 09.30 on Wednesday mornings in our Solent Room where they organise the day's destination according to the prevailing wind, tide and weather forecast. We meet nearly every Wednesday in the Summer and most Wednesdays in the winter depending on the weather. |

Motor Boats are very popular with the sailing fraternity often wanting to crew! For those you cannot make mid- week we have our Saturday Saunterers who meet on the first Saturday in the month on a similar basis as the Meanderers except that destination details are pre-decided and circulated by e-mail.
