Children's events

As part of our approach to welcome all-comers, we are striving to be a family friendly club. Ashore, children are welcome in the Solent Room to eat or just for drinks, and to join in with the fun at events such as the Bath Race.

For many years, we have held two traditional events specifically for children:

The Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt takes place on the lawns in the dinghy park outside the club house. The children take great pleasure in finding coloured sticks or tiny eggs and usually end up with quite a haul of chocolate.  Each year there is also a competition for the best decorated egg and there are sections for children and adults too. This year's event: Saturday 30th March 2013.

Children's Christmas Party

December brings Santa’s visit to the Children’s Christmas Party where there is always fun and games with tea in readiness for the arrival of Santa on his sleigh. Each child is given an individual gift when they meet him in the grotto. This year's event: Sunday 15th December 2013.

The Social Committee are always keen to consider new ideas, including children's entertainment.
