2011 Annual LTSC Bath Race
A sunny day, thank goodness, and a great turnout from LTSC members and the public to watch our annual Bath Race.
This year we coincided with the RNLI Open Day so there was a lot to see and do while we waited for the racing. Not so many Baths entered this year…where are all our intrepid sailors who don’t mind a dunking?
However there were some amazing creations including a full blown galleon (which sank!), a very strange entry from the Lifeguards and of course the winning entry from our own members, the Willis family! Well done Liam!
Thanks must go to our organising team, Duncan, Adam, Jill and Meriel, also to Tony, Val, John and Rhona for organising and cooking all those delicious burgers and sausages and of course to all those who helped and took part! We were able to donate over £100 to the RNLI.
A special ‘Thank You’ too to Ringwood for providing a Beer van and all those wonderful prizes and T shirts.
