The Solent Room had a very patriotic look with Union Jack bunting and flags decorating the walls and tables. There was a roast beef dinner and ‘ships biscuits’ followed by a talk from John Batchelor and then a selection of Sea Shanties and Patriotic Songs from our own ‘Midshipmen’.

Thank you Adam  for organising the choir. A very jolly evening was had by all! 

John kindly donated one of his signed prints which we raffled off and raised about £140 which we gave to Cancer Research and The Club Development Fund.
