We are always in need of volunteers to assist with running our extensive race programme.

Sailing is one of Britain's most successful sports and is underpinned by a very large number of volunteers who provide time, energy, skills and knowledge in a multitude of waysThe Sailing Committee is responsible for organising the support for on - water activities, training, accreditation and rostering of RIB drivers, Race Teams for dinghies and keelboats, Dinghy Cruise leaders and Saturday Sailing Supervisors in accordance with the LTSC Dinghy Sailing Management System

It is necessary for all volunteers to be aware of the safety procedures operated by LTSC.
Please note that the club is required to carry out risk assessments in respect of the various sailing activities within the area of the Lymington Harbour Authority.
All dinghy sailing at LTSC is organised in accordance with the LTSC Dinghy Sailing Management System

LTSC maintains training manuals for RIB drivers and Race Officers.
Saturday Sailing Supervisor & Dinghy Leader Training Manual
These manuals are updated to reflect best practice and new/changed legislation or ISAF/RYA rules/guidance.
LTSC RIB drivers and Race Officers are invited to an annual Forum so that they can share experiences, keep up to date with any changes in procedure and enjoy a free thank you meal.
LTSC will support members who wish to be nationally or internationally accredited Race Officers or Rules Advisors
