Saturday Saunterers: Yarmouth 12th May 2012

Written by Mark Lanigan Saturday, 12 May 2012 20:52

After the recent spell of dreadful weather it was good to see such a good turn out for the May Saunter. Six boats and 20 crew met in the  Solent Room for the day's sailing. We headed east with the tide with many making it almost to Cowes before turning against the tide and heading for Yarmouth.
.
When we'd all moored up we met in the Royal Solent Club for a pre-lunch beer and a view of the Solent in brilliant sunshine. Then onto the King's Head for lunch and a chance to catch up on the morning's sailing.

Then we headed back to Lymington dodging the ferries and X-boat races. The next Saunter is 23rd June. See you then.
