CLUB TRAINING
Club Courses
These are courses created for our members. They address two aspects:
* Additional training and practice for members who are trying to improve their sailing skills.
* Training for all the members who form the support team to run dinghy sailing at the club.
Adult Training
Saturday Improvers
LTSC runs Saturday Improver sessions with the aim of getting those, new to sailing (RYA Level 1) or feeling rusty, out on the water under the supervision of a RYA Dinghy Instructor. This will give you time at the helm to gain experience whilst the Instructor can give you tips, advice and exercises on how to improve your skills and build up to taking RYA Level 2.
Just £15 per morning session, from 9.00 to 12.00. To book use the members login.
Coaching Opportunities
If you would like coaching to improve your sailing skills LTSC can offer one to one, class specific or group training session - please contact training@ltsc.co.uk for more information.
Club Training Videos
The club runs occasional courses on a variety of topics. When possible we video them. These are the videos made.
Support Team Training
Dinghy Sailing at LTSC relies on members assisting in running the safety boats for both racing and Saturday Sailing. Each year we have a couple of days dedicated to training members on:
* Rib Helm and Crew
* Race Officer and Assistant Race Officer
* Tractor Driving
