There are more details below....
Meanderers
The Meanderers meet every Wednesday at 9.15am in the Solent Room, subject to the weather.
We day sail to local points of interest and moor up in company before catching the tide home.
You do not need to register in advance.
All you need to do is turn up to the Solent Room in the Club with a sandwich, a love of sailing and a life jacket.
Weekend Wanderers
For those members who cannot attend on Wednesdays, we have introduced once a month weekend day sailing. The sessions will be run on the same “turn up and (perhaps) go” basis as Meanderers. Clearly, we cannot guarantee a crew place, but will always try to match up crew with skippers. Sessions will be promoted in the weekly newsletters and on the LTSC/KYC Google cruising group. Short term cancellations will be announced on the LTSC/KYC Google cruising group, so please check this before travelling on a weekend morning.

Cruising
The Club has a very active programme with overnight and multi-night trips between March and October. We do shorter trips to destinations like Poole, Weymouth and Portsmouth and longer range visits to Alderney and Normandy.
We would welcome all yacht and powerboat owners to join our cruises and also anyone looking to crew.
Why not have a look at the LTSC/KYC Cruising Programme 2024 or the Cruiser Events included in the club calendar.
Tech Talks
In addition to the Club's Weekly Wednesday Winter Talks, we endeavour to provide technical talks, specifically directed at yachts and motor cruisers, once a month, normally on a Thursday, during the autumn and winter periods.
These cover boat systems including engines, steering, or electronics, sail choice or rig tuning or boat safety.
Training
Whether you are looking to brush up your First Aid or VHF or do your Day Skipper or Yachtmaster Theory course, the Club offers these in-house with special discounted rates for Club members. Please click here for more information.
LTSC has partnered with JLPSC to offer the complete range of RYA Yacht practical training and assessment at preferential rates on presentation of your membership card. Full details of JLPSC courses can be found here.
Social
We hold Cruising Suppers throughout the period October to March.
These are a chance to catch up with friends, but also include a Prize Giving evening and the Cruising Programme Launch dinner. All members are welcome to attend.
We welcome any members to join in our activities whether you own a yacht or not. If you want to crew, we can try and ensure you go sailing with some of the skippers and get to know us.
