Why Join Us
At LTSC, we offer excellent year-round sailing together with modern facilities, a large programme of social events and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as well as a fantastic view of the Lymington River and Solent. We have a policy of openness and offer membership to anyone with or without a love of sailing and regardless of skill or experience. We don’t require an interview and if you’d like to have a look at the Club do come to one of our Open Days or just call the office on 01590 674514 and we will be available to show you around.

Sailing every week of the year for dinghies and keel boats.

An active Dinghy and Yacht Racing programme.

Access to training and coaching for all ages, RYA Approved Training Centre.

Unlimited use of the Club house facilities and event attendance.

Use of the Club dinghies and paddle boards, subject to prior assessment.

Use of our Club pontoon, subject to some simple guidelines.

Full membership immediately after acceptance, no other formalities.

The process is quite simple and straightforward:-

Or download and complete an Application for Membership form. You will need to refer to the Membership Subscription Rates below and work out which membership rate applies to you and send your Application Form to the Club Office, Lymington Town Sailing Club, Bath House, Bath Road, Lymington, Hampshire, SO41 3SE (or drop it in by hand) or email it to office@ltsc.co.uk

You may use the Club as soon as your Application Form and payment have been received.

At a later date, you will be invited to one of our New Members' social evenings, when you will be able to meet most of the key people in the Club, learn how to become more involved and meet other new members.

Membership Rates
The Joining Fee is only payable on initial Membership Application or if the Membership has lapsed for more than 3 months. There are no Joining Fees for the Membership Categories, Individual Youth (12-18), Individual (19-29) or Family Under 30. For the Club's 80th Anniversary year, 2026, the Joining Fees are waived for the first 80 new members.
Family Membership includes: Spouse or Partner (living at the same address) and/or Children under 18 years. Children can remain on a family membership up to the age of 24 years, providing they are in full time education. Please provide evidence of this fact.
Renewal of Subscriptions becomes due 12 months from your joining date. The subscription fee is based on the month that the application is received and cannot be forward dated.
Monthly direct debit (Go Cardless) payments are preferred and payments are taken on the last working day of the month.
