Interclub Sand Castle Building Competition
21st August 2021
Dinghy Cruisers! It is time for the Sandcastle Competition again. Please join us on Saturday 21st August for our dinghy cruise to Totland Bay, followed by a Sand Sculpture Competition involving Hurst Castle Sailing Club. We will brief late morning and sail to Totland Bay.
Due to the council putting a protected swimming area, we will need to anchor dinghies off or raft them up. Depending how many and the type of dinghy we will secure the dinghies in the most appropriate way. After the competition, sailors who need to rig on the beach or alongside a rib can do so.
Please register your interest and intention to join the dinghy cruise for the Sandcastle Competition, so we know how many dinghies we are likely to need to secure. Rules here.
Put your thinking hats on for your Sand Sculpture, it is a lovely family day out. More detailed instructions nearer the time in the newsletter. Organisers - Gillian and Marc Duncan.

LTSC Q&A and AGM
4th March 2021
The Club's annual Q&A, which always precedes the AGM, will be held on Saturday March 20th at 18.30. Thereafter, the Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday March 30th again at 18.30.
Both events will be held on Zoom and full details of how to participate will be included in the AGM notice, which will be sent to members on Monday, via email. If you do not receive yours for any reason, please drop a mail to the office team on office@ltsc.co.uk
The Q&A will include a discussion on proposed resolutions, presentations from the Executive, and the opportunity to question each on any specific points of their report. With this format, the theory is that the AGM becomes a simpler affair for approval of reports, voting, awards and any other business.
