KNIT AND NATTER
KNIT AND NATTER
The Knit and Natter Group was formed over three years ago. The good news is that you don’t need to be able to knit to join us, just come for a natter!
If you enjoy any kind of hobby, you’re welcome to join us. If you want to learn to knit or crochet or need help with a project there is usually someone who can help. LTSC has lots of members with many talents!
Since we started the group, between us, we’ve made countless jumpers for grandchildren as well as bobble hats and scarves. Baby clothes for a local premature baby unit and knitted squares for a local care home’s charity challenge. We've also made Christmas decorations for the Club.
We were even asked by a member to knit chain mail helmets for an amateur dramatic society. Probably the most unusual item made was a knitted mermaid tail blanket. The list is endless and that doesn’t include the embroidery, cross stitch and sewing that gets done.
If you would like to join us you’ll be made very welcome. Come along and meet friends and make some new ones.
We meet in the Martineau Room at 10am on the first and third Tuesday of every month.
