Welcome

Whether your passion is dinghies or yachts, racing or cruising, there are so many ways to make the most of your sailing with Lymington Town Sailing Club.

There are opportunities to sail all year round and a group of friendly members are just waiting to help you get on the water whatever your age or experience.
From introductions to sailing to dinghy cruises and high performance races, from yacht racing to local and overseas cruising there is something for everybody.

Dinghy Sailing

RS Southens 2016Dinghy racing takes place throughout the year while dinghy cruises explore the Western Solent during the summer and Saturday Sailing helps the less experienced to gain confidence.  We also have club boats which may be hired for those who just want to see what it's like out there without having to own their own dinghy.

Yacht Cruising

We have an active yachting section with a full programme of meets from overnight to multi-night trips and every Wednesday the Meanders meet for local day cruising in keelboats. The Club also runs a number of yacht racing series throughout the season including the Solent Circuit.

Social

On shore, the club is very active with a year-round social programme of parties, quiz nights, dinners and talks which offer a great opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. This combined with an excellent bar and restaurant make the Club house a popular destination.

Training

LTSC is an RYA recognised centre for Dinghy Sailing Courses and Power Boat Courses up to Safety Boat level. These courses are run using the clubs RIBs and sailing dinghies. We have a dedicated training room which allows us to run the RYA shore based courses, First Aid at Sea, VHF and Day Skipper theory.
